#1: Harry Dry x Kanye West’s
“The College Dropout”

Harry works on Yeezy.Dating:
A dating site for Kanye West fans.

1. What is your favourite music album? Why is it important to you?

The College Dropout, Kanye's breakthrough album. For five years he was told he was "just a producer" and that "he couldn't rap". But he kept going and ended up with one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time. We've all had people tell us we can't do something or it's not going to work out and at that point it's how much we're willing to dig in. To me that's what this album is about. Knocking down the door when no-one was giving you a key.

2. Name five favourite musicians of all time.

Kanye West, The Notorius B.I.G., Jay Z, The Pogues, Travis Scott.

3. Tell a short story behind Yeezy Dating. What inspired you to start?

What can I say! I took an idea from my head to 100 news anchors and radio hosts talking about it worldwide. I started it cause I saw a really shitty Trump dating site go viral and I just thought I can copy that and do it better. That's always been my best ability. Stealing something, reworking it and coming up with something better.

4. What place does music take in your workflow?

I can't listen to music when I code. Only when using Sketch to design. But it helps with focus and inspiration. I'm into the process behind an album, like an artist going into the zone for 4/5 months, digging in and coming up with the best they've got. It's the same with shipping, you go to "album mode" just totally focused, crunching it.

5. What has been the biggest lesson you've learnt so far in life?

There are no adults. Everyone is making it up as they go along. So figure it out yourself and do it.
